Jim Buchholz is a newspaper
columnist, naturalist, wildlife photographer, outdoor sportsman
and author of the book Wild
Wisconsin Notebook. He holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Wildlife Management and Biology from the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Jim has been a professional Park Ranger
and Natural Resource Property Supervisor for the Wisconsin
Department of Natural Resources for more than 30 years.
Throughout his career, Jim has
helped his readers and visitors to Wisconsin State Parks and
Forests learn about Wisconsin’s flora and fauna through his
writings, interpretive programs, guided nature hikes, and nature
center exhibits. He has authored a popular newspaper column
about wildlife topics for over 14 years.
Jim lives in rural Plymouth,
Wisconsin with his wife Kathy. He has three children. |
